JUNO award

The JUNO Awards annually recognizes the accomplishments of the Canadian music industry, in all its diverse splendor. This past year has been a busy one at Stonehouse Sound and two recordings we were deeply involved with have been honored with Juno nominations. Amy Brandon has been nominated in the “Classical Composition of the Year” category for her magnificent composition “Simulacra” for solo cello (Jeffrey Zeigler) and orchestra (Symphony Nova Scotia). Also nominated in the Classical Recording of the Year (solo artist) is ‘mouvance’ with the amazing soprano Suzie LeBlanc singing the beautiful music composed by Jérôme Blais.

Congrats to Amy, Jérôme, Suzie and all the many participants involved. Through their artistry and hard work, music listeners all over the world can listen to and be transported to places you never expected!
