I worked for the Merce Cunningham Dance Company from 1991 to 1996. I started as audio engineer while John Cage was still Music Director of the company. In 1993 my work with MCDC started to focus more on David Tudor and the presentation of his music. As a result my role shifted from engineer to musician. Through MCDC I had the privilege of collaborating with some of the premiere experimental music composers and musicians of our time, including John Cage, Walter Zimmerman, Takehisa Kosugi, Emanuel Dimas de Melo Pimenta, Yasunao Tone, Andrew Culver, John Driscoll, Paulin Oloveros, Steve Lacy and Stuart Dempster.
